Startup Poker 2.0 Sponsorship

Startup Haven is growing and our partnership programs are in flux. As such, programs, availability, and costs are subject to change. Also please note that Startup Haven membership is confidential and contact info of members and attendees cannot be provided to partners or sponsors.

Startup Haven Event Sponsorship

Startup Haven events are unique among startup community events; namely, all invitees are venture-scale startup founders, execs, and investors. Since the first event in October 2006, Startup Haven has hosted more than 400 in-person, Startup Poker 2.0 events — creating thousands of relations among venture-scale startup founders and investors.

Event attendance ranges from 25 – 70  invited founders and investors, depending on the city and time of year. The only for-profit service providers allowed to attend events are a small number of carefully selected partners — so when you attend a Startup Haven event you know you are among core members of the venture-scale startup founder ecosystem. We are happy to support service providers exploring partnership with detailed information about our events. However, due to the private nature of our events and our commitment to maintaining a high-value environment for founders and investors, no non-partner service providers are allowed to attend our events.

Startup Haven welcomes our “attending” sponsors to participate in our regular Founders Dinner and Startup Poker 2.0 events and to briefly address attendees. Regular sponsorships are not category-exclusive. All sponsors are expected to adhere to a strict code of conduct, especially with regard to marketing and prospecting behaviors.

Sponsorship Benefits:

  • Option for one company representative to attend the event. (cash sponsors only)
  • Recognition in monthly newsletter communications
  • Logo on all event communications, e.g., invites, reminders, follow-ups
  • Logo on event signage (when applicable)
  • Logo on one or more event tables (when applicable)
  • Logo on event trophies (when applicable)
  • Option to provide literature/swag to all event attendees
  • Up to two minutes to address event attendees
  • Targeted social media exposure through Twitter and Startup Haven blog.

Startup Haven sponsorship program costs vary by city and are subject to change based on membership growth in each city.

    • one regular event
    • limited availability
    • may only be used one time per sponsor
    • If Startup Haven events are a fit for your organization, a portion of the sponsorship may be applied to an expanded partnership as follows:
      • Any 6-month sponsorship, (40%)
      • Any 12-month sponsorship, 50%
      • Any multi-city or national sponsorship, 100%
    • Sponsorship Cost (Additional cities launching in 2025)

      • Detroit: $1,894
      • Los Angeles: $1,894
      • New York: $2,500
      • Portland: $1,894
      • San Diego: $2,200
