There is no better place to spend the dog days of summer than in Seattle — better yet, on the shores of Lake Union. Even more better, hanging out, eating good food, drinking cold beer and playing cards with the best startup networking crowd ever… along the shores of Lake Union. Specifically, we were hosted by Peter Chee and his team at ThinkSpace. What a terrific space. And Peter has made a very generous (and exclusive) discount available to Startup Haven members. Three things made this night special.
1) We had Lisa Nelson as our special guest. Lisa is a managing director of M12, Microsoft’s venture investment arm. I’m personally looking forward to hearing about which Startup Haven member company gets funded first by M12.
2) I got to introduce Jonathan Gagliardoni as our new Seattle chapter director. Jonathan has a been a Startup Haven member since 2014 and his attendance record is unrivaled. Jonathan is the first official chapter director in Seattle (besides your’s truly) and I’m grateful to have him on the team.
3) Bucca di Beppo. Nuf said.
Thanks to all who came out. Hope to see the rest of you at the next event.
All the best,
