Poker 2.0 is always draws a great crowd and is always a blast… but this was one of the best events to date.  Several new faces at the tables and a couple of old timers I hadn’t seen in a while.  Great drama at all three tables with bad beats, suck outs… and some general moaning and groaning.

It was great pot at the end and made all the better by a new Startup Poker 2.0 sponsor, Brown Foreman, the parent company of some great premium liquor brands like Woodford Reserve, Jack Daniels, Herradura and others.  Thanks to their generous sponsorship, the 1st place winner, Danielle Morrill (Twillio and Seattle 2.0), won a bottle of their finest, single barrel Tennessee whiskey… and a few of us won a nasty headache in the morning gotta (remember to drink like the Irish… a glass of whiskey… a glass of water… a glass of whiskey… a glass of water… repeat).  Stephan Kalb (Molly’s Salads) was the winner of the night’s bounty which which as a the classic bottle of Jack Daniels Black Label.

As always, thanks to Ken Myer and his team at WTIA for their continued generous financial support of Poker 2.0 and the Seattle Startup community!  Ken really “gets it”… so do we.
